Be part of what the model already knows.
GEO is the off-site half of AI Optimization. AEO makes your site quotable. GEO makes the wider web agree with it, so the model has a consistent picture of your business to draw on.
Answers are assembled, not retrieved.
A generative answer is not a page that was found. It is a paragraph that was written, from whatever the system has absorbed and whatever it pulled in at the moment of asking. Your website is one input among many.
GEO works on the rest of those inputs. If four sources say slightly different things about your service area and a fifth has your old phone number, the system has to pick. Often it picks the competitor whose story is coherent.
What we work on.
Entity definition
Making your business a well defined thing rather than a fuzzy one. One canonical name, one description of what you do, one set of service areas, repeated the same way everywhere.
Profile and directory alignment
Your Google Business Profile, industry directories and listing sites all telling the same story. Contradictions between sources are one of the fastest ways to be left out of an answer.
Third party corroboration
Reviews, local mentions and credible references that independently confirm what your own site claims. A model weighs agreement across sources heavily.
Topical coverage
Enough genuinely useful material about the jobs you do that your site reads as a real source on the subject rather than a brochure with a phone number.
Geographic specificity
Being clearly attached to the places you actually serve, in a way that survives being summarised. Vague nationwide language makes local recommendation harder, not easier.
Freshness
Keeping the material current, because stale pages get quietly demoted as sources when a system has newer alternatives to draw on.
